Meal Preferences, Allergies or Dietary restrictions: nothing significant. Comfort foods - mac 'n cheese, lasagna, chicken noodle soup, meatloaf & potatoes, etc.

This was borrowed from the etiquette portion of this website: - When dropping off a meal, plan not to stay more than 10-15 minutes. This will obviously depend on your existing relationship, but it is safer to expect that the Hayes family is not ready to entertain yet. If they aren't home you may leave the food in the blue cooler. - If you call ahead please arrive at the requested time, but this is not necessary if you plan to just drop food off. - So much food has been delivered, left overs are already planned into the calendar. - Many of the extras like condiments, salad dressing, are already at the house. Desserts are always welcome. If you are unsure call. - If you plan to have something delivered (e.g. pizza), make sure to pay for a tip in advance and specify the delivery time. - If possible, deliver your meal in a recyclable or reusable container. There is another container on the porch in which you can pick up your dishes. - Be sure to label any items that you would like returned to you. - Include clear preparation instructions, i.e. "Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees." - Consider including a note or a card to the recipient wishing them well. - Have a map to the recipient’s house and a phone number in the event that something comes up on the day of delivery
