Special Instructions
We are hoping to provide care and support to the Saunders Family through this season. Whitney and Brandon have four children and their youngest son, Justin,4, was recently injured with 3rd degree burns on his arms and hands. His bandages must be changed twice a day. We are hoping to help care for some of his medical supplies, family meals, and offer assistance during the 5:30pm bandage changes. If you feel comfortable helping Justin by holding and distracting him during this time, it would be helpful as you can text ahead to see if there is help that day. Dinner can be brought at 6:00pm or if you’d prefer dropping it off earlier for Whitney to bake, please text before arriving. Some of the medical supplies in need are: -4x4 Gauze Sponges -Ace Bandages-size 2in. with Velcro attachment -XL latex Free Powder Free Gloves -Size 5 Surgilast tubular elastic dressing retainer -size 1 tubular elastic dressing for fingers -fractionated coconut oil -Children’s dye free Tylenol -Children’s dye free Motrin -B &W Ointment (Burn and Wound) -Crushproof ball pit balls for recovery to help with working his hands All medical supplies can be dropped off directly to the Saunder’s Family when delivering a meal or contacting by text first, or you can put any of the supplies in the Grace Cares Alcove at Greenville Grace Church and we will deliver the items.
