Kirsten will be on a vegan diet with no refined sugar and limited refined carbs. Daniel is vegan, and both girls eat vegetarian (including eggs and dairy). The kids are partial to Italian and Mexican, but will eat other things. They would appreciate anything you are able to bring, and foods that are easy to reheat or even frozen would be helpful. If you aren't able to cook a meal but would still like to bring them food, delivering takeout from a restaurant would also be really lovely. Ideas for vegan restaurants + juice (Inn Season, Cacao Tree, Seva, Om Cafe, Drought, Urge) as well as the good delis at area markets (Whole Foods, Plum, Holiday, etc.). If you would prefer to send a gift: Visa or Whole Foods gift cards would be especially helpful for contributing to every day expenses - gas, groceries, medications and supplement costs.
