The Manns

Meal Train® for The Manns

Brittany was diagnosed with tongue cancer last month and is currently being treated at MD Anderson in Texas. While the kids are here staying with family, it would be incredibly helpful to take care of dinners for them. Thank you for providing this bit of relief for Corey and Brittany.

Hey guys - a couple of updates: Due to the virus, please drop off meals at the Manns' house: 618 Lorimore Pass. There will be a cooler on the front porch to leave the meals. Many of you know that Corey's dad is fighting cancer as well and now Corey's mom is on bed rest due to a knee injury. If you are able, please increase your meals by 2 servings so the Manns can share with Corey's parents....

Brittany Update

ET

February 25, 2020 by Erin Thompson

From Christy: Many of you know Brittany was diagnosed with tongue cancer in August 2019. She has already been receiving treatment, which has already included the initial cancer removal, tongue reconstruction and radiation. Unfortunately, Brittany received some difficult news last week. What we thought were just some spots that were taking time to heal from the original treatments, unfortunately is where the cancer has returned. While she has been so fortunate to be under the care of the amazing doctors and staff at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas, this has taken a toll on the family both emotionally and financially because she has had to be away from her children for long periods at a time because she lives locally here in Canton, Ga. The news was hard to hear but Brittany is ready to fight and will begin her first round of chemotherapy this week before coming home. She will have several months of treatment before her in this journey as she fights and, and we are declaring, beats this cancer. Brittany is THE most faithful, kind and gentle person I know and would (has) done anything to help others. She and her family are the ones that need our love and support now. God has been so faithful in this journey and her trust is completely in Him always! *There is also a Go Fund Me page if you would like to help financially; it cannot be linked on Meal Train's site but you can contact Christy Jones directly if you'd like to help. ...
