Bernadeta and Bernadina Abera have been such wonderful additions to our Forest Park Montessori community and also to the St Pius parish! Their father Xavier has been in the hospital this past week and will be unable to work for some time. Mom Jeanette is overwhelmed balancing work, care for Xavier and care for their 6 children as well as paying for hospital bills, rent and utilities. Let’s show them some love by feeding their family for the next two months! Would love to also contribute a fund for them to help pay for essentials and decrease the stress on Jeanette. Please reach out to me (Susanna) if you have any questions or have additional ideas for help and support we can offer! Meals may be dropped off at Forest Park Montessori between 8:30 am & 12 pm so they can be sent home with the twins when they leave at 12:30 pm. ...

Thank you and happy holidays!

Hi everyone! We cannot thank you enough for your kindness and generosity in support of this family. Together we have raised $3300 to help Jeanette and Xavier cover rent and utilities in the months when Xavier is unable to work and we have provided 2 months of meal support which is incredible. They are so grateful and we are so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community. Kristy has organized a Christmas wish list for the family to provide them with a few necessities and some small treats for the children.
