Thrive combines food, fellowship, community, and life skills to teens and young adults aging out of foster care. We share a good meal that welcomes conversation, connection, and security as we prepare our youth to become self-sufficient, compassionate adults. Thrive is held at different locations, but most often at Serve Denton. We will reach out to you to let you know where to bring the meal, or we may be able to pick up from you. Would you help us get the word out by letting the people in your spheres of influence -- a church group, book club, civic group, college students looking for volunteer hours, women's group, family, or friends to choose a day and bring a meal? Please have the food delivered to Serve Denton by 5:15 PM. Upon arrival, call or text Lisa Woody at 214-649-9354 and we will meet you at the building entrance that faces S. Loop 288 (you'll see the building number -- 306 -- on that side facing the road). Thank you!

Hello generous Meal Train volunteers, We are so excited to be meeting as a group again on Tuesday nights for Thrive. We will be meeting a little earlier (5pm-7pm) and expect to have about 15 in attendance. If you are able to help out with a meal for next Tuesday, January28th, I will follow up with an address and additional details. Need help with food for Christmas Party on December 17th!

Hello awesome Denton Meal Team!!! We'll have our big Thrive Christmas party at my house in N. Denton on December 17th at 5 pm. There will be about 20 in attendance. Would anyone be able to provide our dinner and dessert that night? If you aren't able to make it, a gift card or money for us to pick it up will work too! Great things are happening in Denton, btw. We just added another aged-out young man to our program, we acquired a 3rd Denton home this past week, and over the next several weeks we'll be adding 3 girls to one of our homes. Please keep us in your prayers! And thanks again for the meals this year. These meals are a HUGE BLESSING to our community. ...
