Meal Train® for Afsheen Benab

Please join us in making life a little bit easier (and yummier) for Mr. Benab, the voice of Lafayette! Email address for Mr. Benab: afsheen.benab@k12.dc.gov As many of you already know, Mr. Benab -- the voice of Lafayette through morning announcements, basketball coach as well as guardian of the front office -- has been fighting cancer. The Meal Train has been so incredibly helpful to him, especially on those days where his body is too fatigued to even think about standing up and cooking up some dinner. It's hard to overstate Mr. Benab's gratitude -- he has been so touched by the outpouring of support in the form of healthy meals and nice notes (and we have totally exceeded our fundraising goal of $500!). He's so thankful that the Meal Train lessens the number of trips he has to make to the grocery store or get Uber Eats food delivery.
