Please join us at the Gift of Grace House for the first fish fry of the New Year on Saturday, January 18th, at 3:30 p.m. With the national holiday on Monday, we will be celebrating MLK's birthday with a fish fry feast for residents and guests. After everyone is served, volunteers are welcome to fix a plate for themselves. Wearing a mask to the fish fry is now optional. As for vaccination status, please follow the advice of your Primary Care Physician. If you are planning to attend but are not feeling well on the day of the fish fry, please stay home and get well. We'll call Sister on the Friday morning before the fish fry to get an estimate of how many we should expect, but at the last fish fry, we served about a dozen which included residents, former residents, guests, and Housemother. We'll use the email function of Meal Train to let those volunteers who have signed up know what Sister said. All leftovers go to the Sisters, so making too much is always ok. Because it has not been selected recently by residents, we have removed "Mac & Cheese" from the Meal Train. If we get a request for it, we can add it back in the future. We want to thank all of you for your support and prayers for the residents and Sisters.
