Hello Band Parents, Our first competition of the year is coming up on Saturday, September 21! The students will be marching in the Broomfield Days Parade in the morning, rehearsing at the school after, and then heading to Lafayette for their performance at 6:30. We will be feeding them at 2:00 BEFORE they leave Horizon on the buses around 3:00. We will be feeding approximately 150 people, which is no easy task and it takes all of us to do it! The Band Parent Association will be providing pizza for the main dish and we are asking for your help with all the extras plus some paper products. Drop off will be on Thursday 9/19 and Friday 9/20 at Miranda Reynolds' house (I live off Huron St. in Westminster near the Orchard Town Center). Anytime either day will be fine, but after 4 pm would be best as I work during the day and this much stuff sitting outside might not be the best. There will be a cooler or 2 plus some baskets for non-perishable items on my front porch that you can put your items in. Please contact Miranda if you have any questions!
