Allergies or Restrictions
Please ensure meals are plant based and do not include dairy or animal products. Vegan recipes meet these dietary guidelines. Meals should be: -low spice (friendly to mouth sores) -high protein (add beans, lentils, tofu, quinoa, chia seeds, peas, edamame, chickpeas, etc) -include cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, bok choy, kale, cauliflower, cabbage, etc) -very little oil -no added salt (Mrs. Dash is an excellent substitute for salt) -no added sugars (date syrup or maple syrup can be substituted for sugar) -avoid coconut oil, milk, or water (these items can raise cholesterol) -NO MEAT -NO DAIRY
