Special Instructions
As some of you know, Jonah Kopischke, 6th grade son of Cory and Wendy and brother of Morgan - 4th grade, suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns on the back of his neck, upper arms, and down his back on Monday, October 22nd. He is currently in ICU at Children's Hospital and will be undergoing numerous surgeries in the next 1 to 2 months. The Kopischke family is overwhelmed with the support they have already received from the H.A. community. When talking with Wendy, one way we can help, beyond our prayers, would be to provide 3 meals a week for the next 3 months for their family. Many days and nights are going to be spent at the hospital and one load that we can lift is meal planning. The Kopischke's live next door to Melissa and Dan Burke (Dylan -6th, Riley-4th, and Mackenzie-5K). All meals can be dropped off at their house: 15448 Valley Spring Ct. New Berlin. Meals can be placed in a cooler that will be on their front stoop. The Kopishcke family wants to thank everyone for their prayers; they truly appreciate everyone's support during this time. Jonah specifically wants everyone to know he will be O.K. Wendy has been reading him the supportive texts and emails and it has been really uplifting his spirit! We all know it will be a long road to recovery, but the doctors believe he will make a full recovery.
