Happy New Year New Life. Gracious thanks to all who provided food and/or served at our December event. Even though we only had 10 guests, everyone enjoyed the food and fellowship that you all shared. A special shout out to John DiTomaso for blessing us with his wonderful music. His keyboard skills and singing made the evening even more joyful, and we look forward to many more performances in the months ahead.
We are aware of the increased concern over the latest covid strain, but please know that the RGM tests all of the Nomadic program guests on a regular basis, and take every precaution to maintain a safe environment. As we stated last month, if you do not feel comfortable serving at this time, we completely understand and look forward to your participation in future events when you do feel safe.
For January we will be serving baked potatoes, chili, green salad, rolls, fresh fruit, and cookies. If you would like to provide chili and need a recipe, you may want to consider this one: Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili (copy link into a web browser) https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/16235/debdoozies-blue-ribbon-chili/
We will plan on having food for 35 and ask that the team supply this "pot luck" dinner. Besides providing food, volunteers are needed to host our guest, serve the food and beverages to the guests, and help with clean-up.
