Welcome to Granite City's Summer Eat Together Gatherings! Join us for dinner at the home of Gail and Mike Nicholson. Here's what you need to know: TIME & LOCATION July 26th, starting at noon. You can stay until whenever you'd like to leave! Gail and Mike live in North Weymouth near the Fore River Bridge. We will email the exact address to all participants in advance of the gathering. Look out for an email a few days before the date that says "via Meal Train." This will contain any timely info you need to know about the event (address, parking situation, cancellation in case of rain). FOOD We'll provide the main course: pulled BBQ chicken, beef, and pork. If you want to contribute, you can bring a side or dessert. ENTERTAINMENT/SEATING This is primarily an outdoor event and we'll have outdoor seating. Any children who go inside the house must be accompanied by an adult. Gail and Mike live right on the water and there's a kayak that you're welcome to use; however, please note that Gail and Mike only have two kids' size life jackets so you may want to bring your own. Beach shoes and towels are also recommended if you want to wade in the water! In the event of rain, we'll announce a rain date. RSVPs Please RSVP! We require a head count in order to plan for seating and food. If you are definitely attending, your RSVP is your "sign up" for an item on this page. If you're not sure WHAT you'll bring or IF you will be bringing something, that's okay! You can list your item as "To be determined." In the notes section for your item, please tell us how many people (including kids) will be attending with you. In order to make sure we have enough food and seating, RSVPs may close at 5 pm on the day before the event.
