Message from Jenn: ….and just like that, the greatest light I’ve ever known to hit this earth moved on. There are moments where time stops and for today, time has stopped for our sweet girl! I was blessed to be there as our Ellie Grace entered the world, and I was blessed to hold her hand as she left this world! For 16 years I watched this amazing soul fight, and battle to live, and today that fight calmed, and I saw that amazing soul gently float away to be with the one who created her. Chris, Hank & I will probably never stop hurting from this loss. We will try but there will be a “before” and forever an “after”now. So my hope, is that every person who ever knew Ellie takes a little piece of her with them as they go through life and let her live vicariously through you all. And parents, hug your kids tight tonight! Let them know how much, abd how proud, you are of them! She is going to be the greatest of angels and I have no doubt she will simply take her shining bright light into her heavenly realm now. Elliana literally means “God has answered”. I was blessed God gave us 16 wonderful years with her to see how amazing one human can be! Like I said to Chris as all this was happening today, “how we created such an amazing human being is beyond me”! But she was absolutely the best of us. She was and will always be my greatest gift! She loved….and you felt it! My mama heart is tearing to pieces right now, and I know over time I, Chris, and Hank will find our way. Whatever that is. But I think it says something pretty amazing that as I aimlessly walk through our house, and look through pictures, every one of them is her smiling. And everywhere I turn is her amazing art, her writings, her unique little quarks she had just etched into this world everywhere I look. In coming weeks, I will share them with you all so you can share in the celebration of the amazing life she lead while still here on earth. Because for only being 16 years old, she sure did pack a lot of life into her short stay. So if everyone can take a second today and send her your warmest thoughts as she transitions from her earthly stay to her heavenly one, we would appreciate that sentiment so much. And that girl just wanted one thing in life….. she wanted everyone to love EVERY ONE! Because life is too short for anything but. Just be kind to one another because life is tough, it can be rough, and none of us know when our last moment is. But she left this world filled with love. And she would be tickled pink to know her legacy was healed pain and shared love! So get out there everyone and live every minute to the fullest. Look out for one another and help each other out.
