Allergies or Restrictions
No dairy, pork, corn or gluten. Stephan and Kristie eat mostly paleo. *No nightshades (tomatoes/sauces, eggplant, peppers, paprika or chili powder). Kristie’s back pain is virtually non-existent since cutting out nightshades and she’d love to keep it that way :-)

Special Instructions
Food is medicine even more so for us at this point. Foods need to be organic, non GMO and grass-fed/pasture raised. We're learning as we go, so a change this month is NO DAIRY for main meals. Liana is getting plenty throughout the day and the rest of us do much better without it! Think Whole 30 and Paleo - (minus all nightshades!) - unless it's a keto treat for Liana. *Also, when possible, please include a side of veggies or beans for Zoe. She appreciates that :-) MAIN POINT: KEEP IT SIMPLE & FOCUS ON MEATS AND VEGGIES... What’s helpful: cook extra meat for us to freeze and quickly reheat. Chop up produce and bag/jar it so we can simply juice or bake or stir fry it. As for treats, the sweeteners in keto desserts are sugar alcohols - Monk Fruit, Stevia, Erythritol, Allulose...those are the ones we've mainly used and see often. There are a few recipe photos on caringbridge that Liana has highlighted.
