Special Instructions

HOW TO SIGN UP: -Please write the RESTAURANT and TYPE OF FOOD when ordering when you choose a slot in this meal train (For example, 20 containers of baked ziti from Restaurant X from (insert your name or business that is sponsoring the meal) -The number of staff on each unit has been coordinated with the hospital - The delivery and meal times are listed in each slot, along with the number of staff to order for the meal. Lunch is at 12:00 PM for each unit listed. Dinner is at 7:00 PM for each unit listed. -ALL MEALS MUST BE PURCHASED BY A LOCAL RESTAURANT OR DELIVERED FROM A GROCERY STORE VIA INSTACART, GRUBHUB, etc. This is an intentional endorsement to support local businesses while maintaining the COVID safety precautions. DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS to be relayed to the restaurant or delivery service of your choice (feel free to copy and paste if online ordering): -Please ensure all deliveries are labeled with the destination unit -ALL DELIVERIES MUST BE IN INDIVIDUALLY PACKED CONTAINERS FOR THE UNIT. -Deliveries must be made to the MAIN ENTRANCE on the SUNY Upstate COMMUNITY Campus -LABEL THE FOOD WITH THE UNIT LETTER AND NUMBER -most restaurants know the routine for delivery to the hospital's main entrance. This is an organized, not-for-profit meal support initiative for the hospital staff. These simple directions do need to be followed to support and ensure the safety of all local business and hospital staff.
