Favorite Meals or Restaurants
Thank you so much for your generous support of Jason, Carter and Aria. If you feel so inclined, please consider dropping off muffins/banana bread or other breakfast/snack items as well.
*NOTE* The "Cleveland parents" (from Aria and Carter's school) are providing the Bennett family with a "lunch box" every Sunday, containing weekday lunch foods
Here is a list of their favourite foods by category:
Dinners: pasta (plain meat sauce with no "chunks"), creamy soups, chicken noodle soup, Dr.Oetker spinach pizza, meatballs, chicken, ground beef or ground turkey tacos (no salsa), grilled cheese, cheese quesadilla, rice, mashed potatoes (with lots of butter and salt!), steamed broccoli (with butter and salt), steelhead salmon (baked with salt and pepper), canned soups, Shepherd's pie (no onions), Rosemary rock salt bagels, stews, burgers, hot dogs, fried rice with chicken
Takeout Dinners: sushi (california rolls, yam tempura rolls, veggie tempura, chicken teriyaki with rice, miso soup), chicken satay with peanut sauce and white rice from the place near Lonsdale Quay
Breakfasts: oatmeal with Greek yogurt and frozen berries, plain Greek yogurt for smoothies, eggs, turkey bacon
Baked goods: muffins (cheese, bran, blueberry, chocolate chip...), banana bread (with or without chocolate chips)
Fruit: watermelon, fresh mango, grapes, strawberries, apples, bananas, other melons, pineapple,
Veggies: cucumbers (cut the long way), avocados, snap peas, corn on the cob, green beans, asparagus, canned black beans and kidney beans, frozen peas and corn, carrots
Snacks: peanut butter, crackers and cheese, cheese flavoured rice cakes, popcorn
