Special Instructions
For breakfast and dinner we suggest healthy dishes with leaner meats such as turkey, chicken, healthy fats and lots of veggies too! Meals that can last a couple of days are ideal, such as a breakfast casserole or meals with several servings. Kristen is recovering from surgery and her medical team has suggested the following foods to ensure peak nutrition for her and baby Jordan. Please opt for healthy, protein-rich foods, such as lean meat, eggs, beans, lentils and seafood low in mercury plus a variety of whole grains as well as lots of fruits and vegetables. For optimal lactation, these food items are best to AVOID: Dairy/Cow’s milk (cheese on the side is okay), Spicy Foods, Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, Thyme, Peppermint.
